She & her staff are courteous, professional & compassionate! So convenient since her practice is in our neighborhood in South San Francisco. I admire Dr. Tanega's passion for her chosen profession, her kindness & she even mentors & teaches young adults who are potential future Dentists & Hygienists. She's encouraging to these young adults who ultimately become Dentists & Hygienists! She inspires them to excel & meet their goals. It feels like family whenever we go for treatment. I get anxious w/ needles; with Dr. Tanega's gentle hands, I didnt even feel the syringe! She gives a lot of TLC to her patients - my lips become excessively dry & chapped, she gently applies Vaseline to my lips to prevent dryness & discomfort. No other Dentist does this! JEULZ2024-03-26I’ve been coming to Dr. Tanega’s office for over 5-6 years now, the staff and Dr. T have always been super helpful with accommodating my work schedule and even when I had emergency she saw me right away. I had oral surgery and she called me everyday to see how I was doing. I felt it was very personal to me that she thoughtfully reached out to me and my needs. Thank you Dr. Tanega for always being great and answering my questions and concerns.

A H2023-11-01I’m not big on going to the dentist. Never seemed like a family priority growing up, so I carried that logic. I’ve had a few over the years and wish I would’ve had a Dr Tanega near where I grew up because my parents would’ve loved so much they’d make us go see her. She’s the absolute best dentist I’ve ever seen. She talks like she cares and treats her patients as if we’ve known one another for decades.

They let you know exactly what procedures are to be done and explain what is happening. They are very flexible in their scheduling. They even have Saturday openings which is a godsend for my schedule. They work with you and your insurance to help you out as much as possible. Id recommend this place to all my family.
